Produced by Establecimiento Las Marías in Corrientes since 1940, Taragüi is the leading brand of yerba mate in Argentina, with an annual production exceeding 60 000 tonnes and exported to more than 40 countries.
Its traditional version includes stick, with leaves harvested in Corrientes and Misiones, dried in a rotary dryer and stored for at least 6 months, which gives it body and maturity.
The bitterness is present but balanced, offering an intense and energising infusion.
Traditional cut with stick, leaves and some powder. Pressed grist that maintains good filtration and allows flavour to be extracted over several cebadas runs without saturation.
